Who is the registered owner?
Even if you frequently use the vehicle, if it’s registered under someone else’s name, the registered owner must contact our office. Only the registered owner can authorize access and arrange for the release of the vehicle and its belongings. For special circumstances, please contact us to discuss alternative options.
Who was at fault (cited)?

If law enforcement issued a citation assigning fault to you or another driver, this will determine which insurance covers the costs for towing, storage, and damages.


If you were NOT at fault, you should receive the other driver’s owner and insurance information from law enforcement—please forward any details to us; you won’t be held liable for the accident or related charges.

If you ARE at fault, provide us with your insurance information. With full coverage, your policy should cover all charges, and our office will coordinate billing with your insurer. If you have liability insurance, you may be responsible for some costs; however, we can explore alternative options to determine if additional coverage or non-traditional solutions are available.

Do you have belongings in your vehicle you want/need?

Only the registered owner may collect items from the vehicle, and a valid photo ID is required. Our office is open for item retrieval Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (excluding certain holidays). For urgent needs, such as retrieving medications, please call our 24/7 hotline to arrange an exception outside of regular hours.

How do I report this incident to my insurance?

You are responsible for reporting the accident to your insurance company and initiating a collision claim. Make sure to report it as a collision—not as a tow service—to ensure proper classification. If the other party is at fault, their insurance should be contacted instead of yours. In rare cases where the other party is uncooperative, you may need to involve your own insurance, but only after we have explored all other options.

How long does a claim process take?

Insurance claim settlements can vary, but on average, most are resolved within 4–7 days. Our team diligently follows up with insurers to ensure the process moves as quickly and smoothly as possible. For prompt assistance, please contact us immediately with your insurance details.
